Potential delays on low risk goods.

We have been made aware of an ongoing issue with clearance of low risk consignments. The issue is being addressed and looked into by DEFRA.

DEFRA are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Will will update this post with any further developments.

UPDATE from DEFRA

Dear Traders,

Following on from our communications yesterday (Saturday 12^th April) reference the issue impacting a few IPAFFS services. We are pleased to update that the issue was identified and the fix has been tested and implemented successfully. The backlog within IPAFFS is clearing and should need no further intervention from either Port Health Authority or NCH.

If you continue to experience any issues, please reach out to the relevant Port Health Authority in the first instance who will be able to assist.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation whilst we worked through this issue.
