Officers from Mersey Port Health attended and supported a Free Health and Dental event held on 10th & 11th October at Liverpool Seafarers Centre.
Seafarers and fishermen that attended this event received free dental checks, blood checks and health advice including cancer, sexual health, mental health, and drugs addition.
This event was arranged and hosted by Liverpool Seafarers centre (LSC), Fisherman’s Mission and funded by Seafarers Hospital Society. The event was also supported and attended by Manchester Port Health Authority and Sefton's Public Health team.
